Working With Rooftop
Absolutely! Our goal is to set you up for success, which means that we will only recommend the awards programs and categories for which you already meet the criteria.
If there’s a specific award that you're hoping to win and we don’t think you have what it takes, we’ll let you know where you fall short and, where possible, what you can do to strengthen your solution or results.
Great question!
Many L&D teams and solution providers don’t consider applying for awards until after they have finished designing and implementing their solutions. This approach can make it tricky to recall exactly what you did and, more importantly, how and why you did it when it comes time to write your submission.
At Rooftop, we believe you should treat every new learning programme and solution you create as an award contender and bake your awards strategy right into your learning solution design process. Not only will this approach increase your chance for success at winning awards but it should also strengthen your learning programmes and solutions overall.

This is another question with an "it depends" answer.
In this instance, the "best" program depends on your specific goals and aspirations around awards and recognition.
For some, this might mean winning in a specific category, or gaining recognition from a specific awarding body, or taking home the top prize (usually a gold award). For others, it might be about volume and scooping up as many awards as they can in a given year or awards season.
Whatever your goals, we can help with a tailor-made strategy that is aligned with your needs and sets you up for success!
The short answer is, "it depends."
While the majority of learning award programs DO require applicants to demonstrate impact there are a handful of programs and categories that don’t. This is great news if you are getting started with awards and don't have the data to support your results yet.
Why not book a free consultation with us to tell us more about your goals around recognition and we can determine the best path forward for you!
And, if you aren't sure where to start with evaluation, we can help with that too! Our Learning Evaluation and Impact service is designed to help learning leaders and solution providers create evaluation strategies to help measure the impact and outcomes of their programs and solutions.
We believe the best person to tell your story is you! That said, we also know that it can be tricky to know what to say and how to say it, which is why we have created two services to support you.
1. Our Awards Writing Masterclass provides awards writing novices with the skills needed to craft sublime submissions that meet the criteria and stand out from the rest.
2. For more experienced awards writers, we offer an Awards Review and Feedback service. Send us completed drafts of your submissions and we will let you know if, where, and how they need refining and strengthening.
